Salesforce Implementation Specialist

Minimum 2 years experience as a consultant in the nonprofit sector

- or -

Minimum 2 years experience as a full-time Salesforce administrator at a nonprofit with more than 200 users, leading large-scale projects serving multiple internal teams (effectively: an in-house consultant)


  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and projects simultaneously

  • Bachelor's degree (minimum)

  • Experience leading projects and teams of consultants

  • Experience with 3rd party integrations

  • Data migration using tools such DemandTools, Data Loader, Jitterbit, etc.

  • Experience delivering service/support to stakeholders at all levels

  • Based in New York City; authorized to work in the United States


  • Lead projects delivering on a variety of Salesforce implementation, migration, and development efforts, including both project management and hands-on work

  • Conduct discovery sessions with clients to determine business requirements

  • Produce formal requirement specifications and workflow documentation

  • Data migration using tools such DemandTools, Data Loader, Jitterbit, etc.

  • Track project progress and deliverables

  • Mentor and/or train junior team members


  • Has scoped and executed on several 500+ hour projects

  • Has done multiple NPSP implementations from scratch

  • Successful working on a team and independently

  • Self-starter

  • Highly organized

  • Salesforce certified

  • NYC based (required)

  • Meticulous communicator (written and verbal)

  • Genuine interest in working with nonprofits
